PFS Front Strut Bar Solid Mount Conversion Kit

• S60 2001-2009
• S80 1999-2006
• V70II 2000-2007
• XC70 2000-2007

This PFS Swedish sourced conversion set turns your original rubber mounted engine cross brace into a solid mounted strut brace. It means that the front chassis strut towers will be better braced, and provide increased rigidity and steering sharpness during cornering.

Fitting a front strut brace to any Volvo makes a remarkable difference, and with this conversion kit it is simple and easy to do!

PLEASE NOTE before you order :

This kit mounts the strut bar much more firmly than the original Volvo rubber parts they replace and WILL transmit additional vibration due to the engine mounts being connected to the strut bar. Especially more so if the existing engine mounts and or transmission mounts are worn even partly and especially again when installing in combination with upgraded polyurethane engine and or transmission mounts. 

No returns will be accepted after fitting for reasons of vibration.

We do not recommend them to be installed on diesel engines, where the amount of vibration will naturally be worse than petrol engined cars, unless for example on a track car where you accept performance over refinement is necessary! 

Realistically this part is not for owners who appreciate the refinement of their Volvo!
