Replacement Fuel Cap Retaining Strap-

Suitable for most Volvo models –

• 850, S/V/C/XC70, 1993-2000 (C70 > 2005)
• S60, S80, V70, XC70 2000-2008.
• S40 and V40 2000-2004
• S80II , V70III 2008 on
• XC90 2003-2014

Volvo used several different versions of the cap during this time, so before ordering please check your cap following our instruction below.

To find out if this strap is suitable for your car :

Turn over the cap and where the bungee strap is attached to the plastic you should be able to see 2 small rubber bungs holding it in place about 1-2mm in size. We have pointed these out in the large image of the product, where we have started to remove them.

Unfortunately if you do not have the retaining plugs, then our strap is not suitable to use and a new complete cap will be needed.

To change the strap:

Just simply push out the little rubber plugs without loosing them and the strap falls off, fitting the new one is easy, just line up the holes on the new strap with the cap, and refit the plugs.
