PFS Parts Ltd was originally founded in early 2003, and has grown rapidly
since its formation, this website is the second site in the group, with more planned for the future.
The underlying concept behind the PFS Parts websites is to offer a ‘one-stop’ shop
providing a wide range of keenly priced products each catering to one specific
marque. The types of products sold, vary from genuine parts to good quality
aftermarket alternatives to upgraded ‘performance’ products.
PFS Parts is committed to providing a good choice of quality products at fair
prices, backed up by excellent customer service at all times.
Since 2003 the business has gone from strength to strength. In May of 2005 PFS Parts Ltd relocated into a 2000 square foot distribution unit in Northamptonshire containing over 8000 square feet
of racking area. These facilities mean that PartsforVolvosOnline.com probably has the largest stockholding of any specialist Volvo online retailer in the UK, enabling us to fulfil the
majority of orders from stock for prompt shipment worldwide.
Some of the staff behind PFS Parts Ltd include Simon Turner, Paul Whiter, Clive Freemantle and Gavin Hancock.
Clive joined PFS Parts Ltd from the Nordic Car Company in May 2005. Clive brings a total of almost 30 years of Volvo parts experience to PFS.
With Clive on board PFS are introducing lots of new products on a daily basis at some
of the best prices around.
Gavin joined PFS in December 2005 in a trainee position, he has since shown himself to be quick to
learn and is now a valued member of the PFS team.
Simon previously worked in the Electronics industry for over 11 years in Purchasing
and Material Management roles for household names such as TDK Systems Europe.
Simon's Purchasing & Material management experience will help to ensure ‘Parts
for Volvos’ can offer a broad range of Volvo accessories, replacement
parts and performance parts at the keenest prices.
Paul
previously worked as a freelance web developer and has lots of experience behind
him with Internet programming languages such as HTML, PHP and JavaScript. Paul
has in the past designed several complex online database driven applications.
Paul's website development experience will help to ensure that PartsforVolvosOnline.com
is using the latest e-commerce technology to ensure total security. Paul's
experience also helps to make PartsforVolvosOnline.com one of the most comprehensive
and user-friendly websites of its kind on the Internet today.
The sister website to ‘PartsforVolvosOnline’ is www.partsforsaabs.com
which was launched in April 2003 and now lists over 2500 products. The
plan is to build www.partsforvolvosonline.com to meet and exceed the level
that ‘Parts for Saabs’ has reached in a relatively short period
of time. |
